Alice slightly delayed this month…
Hi everyone,
Big apologies for not getting my Alice illustration up today– I’m shooting to have it up Wednesday. Long stories I won’t bother you with! In the meantime though, I have a couple of things for you…
The above image is from some early sketches of Alice I did around January; I was hoping to share more of them but my sketchbooks are being shot for a book, so these are all I had of those. Notable for the upper right; one of my favorite sketches of her so far and the basis for this month’s illustration, which is a very minor scene in the book I wanted to deal with.
And secondly–
This is a little repeat pattern I came up with in the spring of Wonderland motifs– flora along with the ‘eat me’ and ‘drink me’ containers. A different colorway and pattern will be part of the endpapers for an upcoming Alice notebook I did for Monoblock! But for now, feel free to gussy up your desktops with a bit of pattern and color.
Again, sorry for the delay, but hopefully you’ll agree it was worth the wait!
