This is the first Murakami book that iisnpred me to read again... very heart-warming, delivered in the very sensual way. This is a story of love/life and loss/death, together... A story that let us feel how peoplw are bound to choose between love and loss; and life and death. Toru, the man who looks back in his past, was torn between two woman Naoko and Midori. Midori, who is very lively, easy-going, and adventurous; represents “life” and “love”. The beautiful and emotional Naoko, resembles the other. Norwegian Wood is a love story, but it is no ordinary love story. It is packed in a light-side and dark-side philosophical wrapper. This book is very compelling and I will definitely read this book again...
